Come join us for the last Enerbeer of the academic year! This time, we are excited to welcome Prof. Dr. Henk Moll.
Prof. Dr. Henk Moll is professor of Natural Resources for Sustainable Production and Consumption, with expertise spanning Energy & Fuels, Environmental Studies, and Transportation Science & Technology. In addition to his academic work, he is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Integrative Environmental Sciences, Chairman of the Advisory Board of GrEK (Groningen Energy Cooperation), member of the Committee of Control of the EFRO (EU) programme for Northern Netherlands 2021–2027, and board member of the provincial section of GroenLinks.
He will give a talk titled: “The Energy Transition: an interdisciplinary challenge. Analysis of barriers and opportunities using the PESTEL framework.”
In this presentation, attention will be given to the societal response to the gas crisis following the war in Ukraine. Additionally, the current gas crisis related to the conflict around the Persian Gulf will be addressed.
