Student Energy Discussion

Legislation, competitiveness, internal values - what pushes sustainability forward in the private sector?
And what does sustainability even look like when it comes to business practices and the ICT sector?

Alexa Dvorska, MSc works as a Sustainability and ESG Manager at Red Bear Tech (a young international company that offers physical ICT installations in data centres). She was offered a position at Red Bear Tech (RBT) to establish a sustainability framework at the company and to make RBT a sustainability leader amongst peer companies. In her talk, she will zoom in on her journey at Red Bear and the steps she took as well as the lessons she learned along the way.

The event will be interactive and it will save space for discussion. The event is fit for anyone who wants to work on energy transition as any skills and experience necessary for sustainability transition will be equally valuable in energy transition; after all, these topics are closely intertwined.

Speaker bio:
Alexa Dvorska, MSc obtained a Master's in Sustainability Science, Policy and Society in 2022. Her thesis focused on finding the best practices for Climate adaptation in the cities and throughout her Bachelor's she also focused on social sustainability (Gender equality, Roma community and just transition).
