November Enerbeer

On November 21st, Student Energy will organise its first Enerbeer of the year! Our speaker for this Enerbeer will be Iris Westra.

Iris started her PhD at CIO (Centre for Isotope Research) in 2022, where she is researching atmospheric hydrogen. Hydrogen is an indirect greenhouse gas: by reacting with other compounds in the atmosphere, it may contribute to global warming in several ways. Because of the expected growth in the hydrogen production due to the increasing hydrogen economy, it is of great importance to monitor and analyse the effects of atmospheric hydrogen on the climate and atmosphere, during this energy transition. In an informal session, Iris will tell us about her research and there will be plenty of room for questions and discussions!

So join us in this afternoon for this interesting talk, with free drinks and snacks!
